Focusing on the Present Moment

by Michael Taft

In this session, from Michael Taft’s series Anxiety Buster, we learn that focusing on the present moment is one of the most effective ways to relieve anxiety. Using an attention practice called open monitoring, we train our minds to stay anchored on various sensations in the present, without wandering into the past or future. This is in turn, creates calm and balance.
