Burnout to Balance
The long and lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have fundamentally changed how employees view their relationship with work, leading to reduced engagement and high turnover. HR leaders are facing immense pressure to shift priorities toward mental health resources, flexible working environments, and EQ-focused manager training—but what else can be done to prevent them, and their colleagues, from burning out?
Join leadership consultant and workplace mindfulness teacher Laurie J. Cameron, along with Wisdom Labs CEO Cory Smith, and KPMG Director of Benefits and Well-being, Wendi Nosenchuk, for a discussion on how companies can re-energize their colleagues and themselves and what the future of work looks like.
In this interactive session, you will:
- Explore what successful companies and teams are doing to prevent burnout and turnover
- Learn how to have difficult conversations, including setting boundaries in the workplace
- Discover how to fend off languish and exhaustion using self-compassion
- Explore concepts from Laurie’s new series, Burnout to Balance—available now on the Wise@Work App!
