Testimonials

“I appreciated the reinforcement, the way the information was delivered, and the gentle way I was forced to focus on the training.”

“I have noticed a significant difference in my interactions with not only my colleagues, but also my family and myself. I am finding so many opportunities to be more compassionate, mindful and more centered. I really underestimated how much this course would help me. I’ve started to see the language of mindfulness making its way into our culture – some leaders incorporate mindful moments into their business meetings, other employees lead grassroots meditation groups, and in general, more of our team seems to appreciate the importance of being present and enhancing personal resilience.”

Building Creativity at the Molecular Level
THE CHALLENGE

A busy creative agency wanted to help its leaders stay on top of their game in the face of a high-stress environment—e.g. over-scheduling, not enough sleep, and an ‘always-on’ communications cycle.

The Intervention

Wisdom Labs delivered a 12-week onsite Learning Lab. In collaboration with Dr. Steve Cole, the effectiveness of the mindfulness program was tracked with self-reported measures and an analysis of biomarkers.

The Result

Over the course of 12 weeks, researchers found a meaningful change in physiological results—there was a statistically significant decrease in the expression of inflammatory genes, and a greater expression of genes boosting immunity.

Additionally, there were improvements in:

Well-Being

A statistically significant improvement in flourishing as measured by the Mental Health Continuum Short Form.

Social Connectedness

Increased social connectedness as tracked by the UCLA Loneliness measure.

Awareness

An upward trend in ability to stay present as measured by the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire.
